Efficacy of treatment and liability

The St Andrews Practice provides assessments, interventions and therapies that are  considered within the Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology professions as evidence based and  ‘good practice’. However please note the following:

Refunds will not be provided in these  circumstances.

We cannot guarantee the effectiveness of any service or be held liable for any consequence  of assessment therapy, treatment or intervention failing to produce a desired effect. Refund of  fees will not be provided in such circumstances.

Our clinicians reserve the right to terminate input where it is the clinician’s opinion that the  clients presenting difficulties fall out with our remit, and that there are more suitable  alternatives elsewhere. We will endeavor to do this at the point of initial contact, or soon  thereafter.

Our clinicians reserve the right to terminate input where it is the clinician’s opinion that the  assessment or intervention is not, or has become no longer, in the best interests of the  client.
